This unique and not-for–profit gallery was founded by extraordinary artists from our mountain region who wanted to help children in care at The Crossnore School. A significant portion of the proceeds from each artwork purchased helps to fund programs and services at the school. Also, artists commit to donating their time on campus as a leader for our "young artists workshop" as they teach and share their particular art medium with the students. The gallery is located on the Crossnore campus and is in the charming two-story stone and chesnut-shingle trimmed building that also houses Crossnore Weavers: A Working Museum. Constructed in 1936, this historic building is one of two buildings in the town of Crossnore that is on the National Register of Historic Places.
